Today we will be reviewing all of the included food on the ship Mariner of the Seas.

We were just on Mariner of the Seas and had a wonderful time. To start, let’s dive into the Windjammer, which is the buffet. The Windjammer isn’t the largest buffet we have ever been to but it is a good size and has lots of options at each meal. There were times when it was crowded, but overwhelmingly so, with the exception of embarkation day when it was absolutely packed. There is no outside section of the Windjammer and all the seating is inside. The food at the buffet is good; it’s buffet food. Don’t expect a fancy meal here, but for good food to eat and go with a wide variety of options, it is perfect.

Next up is the main dining room. Again, the food here is good, we didn’t have any complaints about that. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and have a handful of menu options for each meal. Keep in mind that eating in the main dining room is not going to be a 5-star, gourmet experience. The food will be good, hot, and flavorful, but most likely it will not be the absolute best meal you’ve had in your life. Rightfully so though, as it is an included dining option and not a premium service. They do have specials each night for dinner to vary the menu.

Let’s move onto the Cafe Promenade, located on deck 5. This is super easy, grab and go options like yogurts, wraps, sandwiches, pizza, etc. It’s all decent food and a good option if you are rushing off to an activity. If it’s not too crowded they will make you a personal pizza, you just have to go up and ask!

Up on deck 11 is the Boardwalk Dog House, the final included food place to eat on Mariner of the Seas. This is a fun option on the ship that is unique to the Mariner and is tucked into the entrance of the buffet. When you go here you can get any variety of hotdog, bratwurst, etc. with all the fixings. They also have a bar here if you have a drink package or want to purchase a drink. The hotdogs are delicious and this is a fun option for you to change things up if you’re focused on eating the food included in your ticket while on your cruise.

There are a bunch of specialty dining restaurants on Mariner of the Seas, but those are all of your included options. Have you been on Mariner recently? What was your favorite place to eat? We would love to hear from you! Comment below.
